Our wedding takes place exclusively in Manhattan so there are many options for how to get here and where to stay. We’ve listed options and tips below, but feel free to reach out with any questions!
NYC has three major airports: JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark Airport. All three are great options to fly into, each with public transit and cab options into Manhattan. If you are staying in New Jersey, Newark Airport will be a better option. Conversely, if you are staying in the outer boroughs (particularly Brooklyn or Queens), JFK or LaGuardia will be better options.
The Amtrak train into New York Penn is the best option for anyone coming from major cities on the east coast (DC, Boston, Philadelphia, etc.). Amtrak also serves most of Virginia, but the trip can be long.
We strongly recommend against renting a car in NYC. The NYC Subway is extensive and accepts tap-to-pay. There are also buses, cabs, Uber, and Lyft available throughout the city.
Given the plethora of accommodation options in NYC, we do not plan on getting a hotel block. Some options are below:
Note that Airbnb (and similar services) are largely illegal in NYC.
There is a half marathon happening on March 15 that could interfere with hotel availability, especially near Central Park. We are not concerned that guests won't be able to find anywhere to stay, but if you have your heart set on a particular hotel, we recommend booking prior to November 2025.
