We will be hosting Welcome Drinks the evening before our wedding at the Upside Bar on the Upper West Side. This is a completely optional event, but if you're in town we'd love to see you there!
We will be getting married at the Burden Kahn Mansions on the Upper East Side. The ceremony will begin mid to late afternoon (~4pm, subject to change), followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing!
Details for this event are largely still TBD, but we'd love to see people before they head off!
The dress code for the ceremony and reception is Black Tie Optional. We know wedding dress codes can be confusing, so here are some examples of what's acceptable:
The dress code for both the Welcome Drinks and Farewell Brunch is casual.
Unfortunately, young* children are not invited to the ceremony. Children are invited to the reception, but our venue is on the third floor with an adjoining spiral staircase that cannot be blocked off, so guests will be responsible for minding their children.
Children of all ages are welcome at both the Welcome Drinks and Farewell Brunch.
* "Young" in this context means "cannot be trusted to stay quiet during the ceremony." Feel free to contact us with questions. We're also happy to help arrange child care.
